Falkensteiner Hotel Palace **** is situated in the center of Vienna, in the 5th district, only 5 minutes from the Naschmarkt, which is one of the most popular vegetable and fruit markets of the city. Several tourist attractions (such as the historical center, the Opera House, the St. Stephan’s Cathedral and the beautiful Schonbrunn Palace) can be approached easily by subway (U4 Pilgramgasse), but it is also worth discovering the city on foot. The Mariahilfer Strasse, the most famous shopping street of Vienna, can be reached easily on foot.
Hotel
The six-storey, airconditioned hotel represents the mixture of traditional elegance and modern comfort. The building was designed by the famous Italian designer, Lorenzo Bellini. The last major renovation process took place in 2005. Elevator, Wifi Internet connection, Internet corner, sauna and parking lot (upon charge) are at guests’ disposal. Falkensteiner Hotel Palace **** also has a restaurant, a snack and a drink bar. Two airconditioned, completely equipped conference rooms are available, both of them have natural daylight. Equipment: overhead projector, screen, CD and DVD-Player, video, pinwall, flipchart, moreover videocamera, projector and microphone are to rent. Pets welcome (upon charge).
Rooms
The airconditioned, elegant, comfortable rooms are characterized by wooden furniture and warm colour shades. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom (with hairdryer and a bathtub), safe, telephone, minibar, radio, television and LAN Internet connection. The Biedermeier rooms are pervaded by discreet elegance, they are carpetted, a couple of these rooms have a balcony as well. The Timeless Nobility rooms are furnished with light, wooden furniture, a frosted-glass wall separates the bathroom from the bedroom, they have a wooden flooring. Antiallergic rooms can be reserved. Most rooms are nonsmoking. Room service is available between 10:00 am and midnight.
