Location
Continental Hotel-Pension **** is located next to the Gerngross Department Store, at Mariahilfer Strasse, which is the longest shopping street of Vienna offering countless shopping possibilities. The Mariahilfer Strasse connects the two emperor’s residences of Vienna, the Schonbrunn Castle and the Hofburg. The Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The Hofburg is about 150 metres far from here, the Kohlmarkt, the Graben and Stephansdom are also easily reachable. Subway station (Neubaugasse/Stiftgasse stations of subway line #3) is situated in front of the hotel’s entrance, this subway line takes passangers directly to Westbahnhof and Wien Mitte stop (Central Bus Station, City Air Terminal). The stop of the bus #13A (Kirchengasse) is in the close vicinity, it leaves from Südbahnhof. Several restaurants await guests in the neighbourhood, where tradicional Viennese meals, Greek, Italian, Japannese and Irish delicacies are served.
Hotel
The cosy hotel is situated on the upper floors of a recently renovated building. Elevator is available, but the hotel is not suitable for accommodating disabled persons. Reception, breakfast room and Internet access (free of charge) are at guests’ disposal. Guests can park in the parking lot of the Gerngross Department Store (APCOA) upon charge. Pets welcome (for extra charge).
